Liquid leakage detection is a very important monitoring work, which is widely used in a wide range of fields, and the detection of liquid leakage is inseparable from the water immersion sensor.
The water immersion sensor is also called a water immersion alarm. Its main function is to monitor whether there is water leakage/overflow/water seepage in the place. The emergence of water immersion sensors has changed the traditional way of relying on manual inspections, making water leakage monitoring economical and intelligent, greatly saving labor costs and increasing the reliability of information.
At present, our water immersion sensor products are all contact-type, which can be divided into two monitoring methods: point-type water leakage monitoring and cable-type water leakage monitoring.
1. Point type water leakage monitoring
Point-type water leakage monitoring: It is also a photoelectric leakage sensor, mainly through infrared detection. The photoelectric water immersion sensor has a fine optical path structure inside, and is detected by the principle of refraction and reflection of light by liquid. High sensitivity, ≤1s and alarm! Liquids that can be detected: Most transparent liquids such as water, oil, and low-concentration acids and bases, turbid and sticky liquids cannot be detected.
2. Cable type water leakage monitoring
The cable type water leakage sensor is composed of a water leakage controller, a water leakage sensing cable, accessories (terminal end, fixed sticker, jumper wire, lead wire) and so on. The water-soaked rope is mainly arranged in the area that needs to be monitored. Once liquid appears and touches the water-soaked rope, the water-soaked rope will conduct through the liquid to form a loop. The processing of the leak detection controller thus generates an alarm. The advantage of this monitoring method is that it can measure a wide range of sites, and it will be detected as long as there is a water leak.
